A schedule of therapeutic activities is posted daily on the bulletin board. The doctors expect their patients to participate fully in the hospital program along with staff members and volunteers.

Some activities are arranged by Occupational Therapy, some by Recreational Therapy and others jointly by the two services. The activities take place on and off the hospital premises.

Creative activities are offered at all levels of patients’ skill and interest. Among them are art therapy, dance therapy, group murals and horticulture. There is also a literature and poetry workshop. Recreational activities include table games, movies, sports, holiday celebrations and live entertainment by talented volunteers as well as visits to stores, libraries - and parks with beaches, picnic areas & tennis courts. Special projects can be arranged.
