Throughout
the week patients and staff come together at therapeutic meetings
to discuss matters affecting their treatment and life at Rye.
Meetings devoted
to planning
activities are held once a week, led by staff and patients
chosen by their peers to serve as their leaders in the Rye Hospital
Center community.

In addition, there are a number of patient committees in which
to discuss and offer suggestions concerning food, recreation and
various aspects of treatment plans.
At Rye, its important for patients to have a say in things. It
is largely through such participation, and the opportunity for
self-expression, that emotional recovery begins.
